On May 1, 2025, the Resilient & Inclusive Cities Hub—hosted by the Global Disability Fund—launched an open call for proposals to support small-scale innovative solutions for disability-inclusive and resilient cities.
We were inspired by the response, receiving over 630 proposals from around the world. After a competitive review process, we are excited to announce five selected proposals, which are expected to begin implementation in 2026.
We also want to recognize that many strong proposals could not be selected due to limited funding—and we are truly grateful for the time, ideas, and commitment each applicant shared.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal. Please stay tuned—new calls will be launched soon, and we look forward to continuing to support innovation that advances inclusive and resilient cities.
